Therefore, please consider this as a defective/junk item.＜Product Condition＞・I inserted a rectangular battery I had and a cassette tape, and pressed the button. I heard a rattling sound from the motor inside, and although the BATT lamp lit up, playback and swift forward did not work. Also, the lamp did not light up depending on which button was pressed.・Operation with AA batteries has not been confirmed.・There may be other undiscovered defects.
