This vintage local Detroit department store coat is just wonderful! when you put it on, the fit is extremely flattering and screams retro, mid-century classy vibes. This coat is no longer made and extremely hard to find a replica of, so its quite exceptional!
A 1960s bouclé wool swing coat or princess coat. The nubby texture is characteristic of bouclé wool, which was favored in mid-century outerwear.
The slightly flared silhouette suggests a swing coat, which is looser in fit and flares out from the shoulders, sought-after in the 1950s and 60s.
The decorative buttons with a faux pearl center and metal trim are typical of mid-century.
Rounder collar, knee to mid-calf length and it good well-preserved condition. item is elegant and funky!
No sizing tag but it fits enjoy a small to medium and measurements are as follows:
